My work in this exhibit includes two ways of working with cold wax. The first is an abstract cold wax and oil painting, "Listening for that Something" and the other is a digital abstract piece "Drift Past the Flowers," inspired by our New England seacoast, mounted and sealed in layers of cold wax medium, creating a subtle hand-crafted sheen.
I am really excited to be back painting and creating in full swing. The past few years have been sporadic; moving three times has been incredibly disruptive to the creative process. For me, anyway. I am so happy to be in a creative place, and look forward to sharing my new work!
